This morning I cracked a raw egg into my cereal bowl, thinking it was hard-boiled.

I thought about trying to poach it the way my Uncle Bill showed me how to do, but it seemed unlikely that the cooking components (water) were at the right levels of heat. Also, I did not have a lid.

  1. I don’t remember ‘raw-in-a-cereal-bowl’ being an option when we were talking about the various egg-styles offered by the american breakfast. Perhaps you’ve discovered yet another Scottish delicacy…

    • Yeah… I mean, I probably would have fried it had the option been readily available. Although there would have been crumbs of cereal in it. Maybe not the most delectable.
